Launch of CATAL1.5°T Acceleration program for Latin American climate-tech startups

The first CATAL1.5°T Acceleration Program has been launched in Mexico City, aiming to empower start-ups from Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Peru with high business potential and environmental impact. Interested start-ups can now apply until December, 15 2023, to submit their applications here.

Selected ventures will undergo a 5-month capacity building experience, gaining access to a series of workshops, training sessions, and thematic content covering business, technology, climate change, ESG, gender, and inclusion, among other key aspects.

Additionally, participants will receive personalized guidance and mentorship from renowned experts in the field. Strategic connections with investors and other relevant stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem will provide crucial opportunities for growth and development.

A standout feature of the program is access to repayable grants of up to €100,000 euros, offering significant financial support to catalyze the business and enable sustainable growth.

Who are we looking for?

Early-stage climate ventures are invited to apply. During the selection process CATAL1.5°T will assess key areas such as business, technology, and climate change potential. We are looking for start-ups demonstrating robust business potential and significant impact on climate change mitigation.
