As part of the CATAL1.5°T initiative, we are excited to announce the opening of the call for applications for the UX in Climate program, implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) in partnership with YUX Academy. This project aims to support and empower women entrepreneurs in the climate tech sector in West Africa.
Climate change presents a major challenge for our planet, and women play a key role in creating innovative solutions. This program emphasizes User Experience (UX) and design, as we believe that well-designed solutions can have a significant impact on climate issues. UX in Climate, one of the first ideation focus program to adopt this approach, aims to train women who can combine creativity and technology to develop sustainable solutions.
Our goal is to create an environment where participants not only develop technical skills but also learn to design products and services that meet real user needs while integrating environmental concerns.
We are looking for passionate and motivated candidates who are ready to address climate-related challenges and provide sustainable solutions in the following four countries: Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, and Senegal. A selection of 20 participants per country will benefit from in-depth training and personalized support.
